Marty Besancon
President
Marty has lived in Archdale for 25 years (Sherbrooke Lane in Brookshire section).
Her favorite things about living here are the neighbors, the established trees, the mix of home styles, and DD2 schools.

Angelika Dorsch-Bruckner
Vice President
Angelika is a German native but naturalized and has lived in Archdale (Archdale Patio Homes section) for over 10 years.
She previously served on the ACA Board as Vice President for years and has returned in 2024 to offer her skills, knowledge, and energy to the Board and community.
She also serves as the webmaster for this website as well as administrator of ACA’s Facebook page.

Rhonda Sweatman
Treasurer
Rhonda has lived in Archdale for over 30 years (Palmetto Bluff Drive).
Her favorite things about living here are the location, the school district, and the neighbors.

Joe Friend has lived in the Charleston area for many years, but only recently moved into our Archdale neighborhood.
Joe has stepped up to join the ACA Board because he is interested in lending a hand to help grow our community.

Cindy Varnado
Board Member
Cindy has lived in Archdale (Knightsbridge – Sterling Forrest section) for many years with her family.
She has provided financial oversight and record-keeping expertise to the Board for several years and continues to do so.
Ted Hucks
Board Member
Ted has lived in Archdale for over 30 years (Knightsbridge – Sterling Forrest section).
You can regularly find Ted cleaning up the Boulevard with his wife Eleanor and lending a hand wherever needed.
His favorite thing about living here are his great neighbors.
Brett Stephens
Board Member
Brett is a North Charleston native, and lives in Archdale (Archdale Patio Homes section) with his wife and young daughter.
Brett is interested in building our ACA membership, and supporting efforts around neighborhood beautification and safety.

- monthly virtual Board meeting via 1 hour Google Meet -12x/year
- Quarterly ACA General meetings in-person 1 hour 4x/year
- 2025 ACA membership of $50/year

Robert and his family have lived in Archdale, off Botany Bay Blvd since 2015 and lending a hand in efforts to the betterment of our neighborhood.
